For large facilities, some employees may have a short list of options for hand washing such as an office bathroom. One must consider each touch point of the process where contamination occurs.
Overall, a facility is only as clean as the dirtiest high engagement areas. For example, exit doors of bathrooms, paper towel dispensers, faucets, food surfaces, refrigerators, coffee pots, ect.
Reduce Walking Distance and Congregation in Bathrooms or Common Areas
If employees have to cover a long distance to wash their hands, it’s less likely they’ll do so. Thinking reasonably, creating unnecessary interactions between coworkers who would not normally interact, could further risk the spread of respiratory droplets.
The solution is not to limit washing but to reduce touch points, limit contamination, and improve overall cleanliness.
Temporary Hand Washing Sink Advantages
Temporary hand washing sinks are an extremely simple solution to prevent unnecessary bottlenecks at centralized washing stations or bathrooms. Employees can walk shorter distances, engage fewer people, and retain workflow without taking extraordinary measures each time a warehouse worker receives a package, uses a shared keyboard, or reaches for a pen.
Employees are able to wash their hands before touching many other handles or dispensers before reaching the hand washing station.
Standalone Washing Station
Each sink contains its own source water and water collection systems which means you won’t need any outside help for installation. These are powered pump systems so you’ll need to place the portable hand washing sink in an area with a power outlet.
