30-Second Filter Changes
There is no need to remove hoses or dismantle your fume extractor to change filters. BVX-250 Series extractors are designed for fast and easy filter changes to keep your operation moving at full capacity.
Monitor Unit Status At a Glance
The state of the BVX-250 unit is indicated on the large, easy-to-see LED Status Ring. Immediately know if the unit is on, idle, or requires a filter change.
GREEN: System is on and extracting smoke & fumes
BLUE: System is on, but in idle mode and not extracting
AMBER: The pre-filter needs to be changed or is not installed correctly
RED: The main filter needs to be changed or is not installed correctly
Removable 360° Rotating Air Diverter
Filtered air exhausts through the removable diverter in the rear of the unit.
The diverter can be rotated 360° to direct airflow in any direction, maximizing operator comfort.
The diverter is removable so you can install BVX-250 into ventilation systems via standard 3” ducting (adapter required).
BVX-250 Main Filter Options For Maximum Flexibility
HEPA 13/Gas Filter
BVX-250 ships with a HEPA 13/Gas Filter:
- 99.97% H13 Efficiency
- Filterable Particles: 0.3μm – 2.5μm
- Pressure Drop: 28 ± 2 Pa
Deep Bed Gas Filter
An optional Deep Bed Gas Filter is also available (sold separately):
- Iodine value of activated carbon: 800 mg/g
- Outer circle initial effect filter screen: G1 efficiency
- Inner circle initial effect filter cotton: G2 efficiency
Communicates With Metcal CV & GT Soldering Systems
The BVX-250 can communicate with and GT soldering systems via USB connections. The BVX-250:
- Goes into power-saving Idle Mode when the soldering system goes into sleep/idle mode
- Sends filter-status warnings to the soldering system when the Main or Pre-Filter needs attention
Quiet Operation With Three Power Settings
50 dBA of noise at the medium power setting.
High speed – When suction performance is the top priority, maximum smoke removal and fume extraction.
Medium speed – For applications where quieter equipment is needed, paired with high suction performance.
Low speed – For use in quiet rooms or small areas.
New Rectangular and Circular Nozzles
Customize the system even further with new rectangular and circular nozzles.
The new nozzles come with Nozzle Filters. Inserted into the new nozzles, Nozzle Filters help protect your unit against unwanted objects entering and damaging the system.
